Summer Hallett Biography of Summer Hallett
Officer Summer
Hallett is the Public Information Officer for the Gainesville Police
Department. Officer Hallett graduated from
Florida
State University in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Criminal
Justice. She then went to work for the Florida Department of Corrections,
Probation and Parole Services where she promoted to Correctional Probation
Senior Officer and worked supervising felony drug offenders. Officer Hallett
attended the police academy at Lake City Community College. In September of
2002, she was hired by the Gainesville Police Department and assigned to the
Patrol Division, where she served as a Field Training Officer, Traffic Homicide
Investigator, Covert Operations and Evidence Tech. She was assigned to her
current position as Public Information Officer in March of 2008. |
